Mahabharata Jnana Yagnam 2018 Begins!!

The advent of the propitious Uttaraayana ushered in the 3rd Mahabharata Jnana Yagnam that commenced on 15th January at Sujatha High School, Hyderabad in the presence of His Holiness Sri Ramaswarupananda ji Maharaj, the Pujya Gurudeva of our beloved Acharya Sri Prem Siddharth ji.
Celebrating this most fortunate occasion, The Guru & Grantha were offered traditional Purna Kumbha and Chatra Seva Swagatam by the disciples accompanied by Vedic chants as Smt. & Sri Bhupal Reddy carried the Mahabharata Grantha and placed it at the altar. The Jyoti Prajwalanam by H.H. Sri Guru Maharaj ji marked the beginning of the Jnana Yagnam. Puja was offered to Lord Sri Krishna & Sri Mahabharata ji followed by the invocation to Goddess Saraswati by sisters - Sreenitya and Poorvaja.
H.H Sri Guru Maharaj ji blessed the sadhakas with His Anugraha Bhashanam as He explained the significance of Mahabharata being the Panchama Veda that is essential for this day and age. The disciples sought the blessings of His Holiness for the successful completion of this 56-day Mahabharata Jnana Yagnam.
Vyasa Stuti was chanted as an expression of our gratitude to Bhagawan Sri Vyasa Maharshi as our Pujya Acharya adorned the Vyasa Peetham amidst Shankha Naadam.
Pujya Acharya Swamiji commenced this year’s teaching with the episode where the Pandavas arrive at the hermitage of Sage Arshtishena. The questions posed by Sri Arshtishena Maharshi to the Pandavas are pregnant with teachings that bring to light the Dharma to be adhered by every sadhaka.
The 1st day of this 56-day Jnana Yagnam conducted by Arsha Vidya Vahini ended with the most soulful Sri Mahabharata Aarati & equally delectable Prasadam.
Give yourself the blessed opportunity to be soaked in Jnana Ganga in the course of this Mahabharata Jnana Yagnam!!!
